We are Jack & Maureen Keller
.. owners of Mulberry Row Bed & Breakfast and "The Cabin" @ Mulberry Row, on Little Pelican Lake, Detroit Lakes, MN. After traveling the country, we couldn't find a place more serene than a "lake place" in MN.
 We built our home on Little Pelican Lake (Detroit Lakes, MN) about 6 years ago. Our inn is surrounded by wetlands and golf courses... always something to do! Winter brings ice fishing , snowmobiling, or just a cozy evening by the fire. Summer is full of water sports and golf, or checking out all of the neat little gift shops and antique stores in the lakes area. This is our 3rd year with "The Cabin" @ Mulberry Row... 800 sq ft of living space, sleeps up to 6 people. All linens and bedding are supplied. Fully equiped kitchen and 42" TV with cable.
Spring and Fall are incredible here! The colors here are worth the trip... and much of the wildlife will entertain you.

Why Mulberry Row?
While traveling in the eastern United States, we visited Monticello...home of Thomas Jefferson. We were impressed with the story of Mulberry Row. On a summer's day in 1796 Mulberry Row would have been humming with activity, with over 30 people at work in it's shops and yards. As daylight faded, the shops grew silent and the dwellings at Mulberry Row were animated by the return of Monticello's workers. Named for the mulberry trees planted along it, this 1,000 ft long road was the center of plantation activity. Monticello's laborer's worked from dawn till dusk, six days a week. Only after their long work day, and on Sundays and holidays, could they follow their own pursuits. Music, dancing, and prayer meetings, as well as midnight excursions in search of wild honey, were a few of the things friends & family enjoyed at Mulberry Row.

What Can Happen @ Mulberry Row?
Enjoy a special occasion, a "girls weekend" or just a "get-away" here at Mulberry Row. With every nights stay you will enjoy a home cooked breakfast in the dining room overlooking the lake. Morning meals include fresh fruits and homemade bread. The coffee is ALWAYS on! Other meals are available (ask for menu & pricing). You can also grill on the patio or even roast hotdogs over the fire pit. A pontoon is available for those who choose fishing or just a little cruise around the lake. The rather large "Fireplace Room" has a big screen TV with surround sound for your television and movie viewing... or you can sit and read a book... or simply enjoy the incredible view of the lake. Mulberry Row has 3 private bedrooms (queen size beds) that all have wonderful views. A VERY Large bathroom is shared by all three rooms. |
